Meet Jess
We, at Claritee, are proud and pleased to announce a new addition to the team in the form of our apprentice, Jess. As a fairly new business established earlier this year, we are still in the process of establishing ourselves and as a unit, we are evolving constantly. Whether it be learning dynamics between each team member, or the pros and cons of our varying business strategies, we are open to learning and improving as we develop. As we are at such a pivotal time for the organisation, we believed it would be ideal to take on an apprentice as they would be able to learn and acquire vital skills not only via our event planning sector but with all elements of the business.
Our co-founder Sarah Mapar has always been passionate about encouraging and nurturing young females in the entrepreneurial world as she felt there was a lack of support when she was embarking on her career in business. Sarah is an advocate of being able to cater to all types of learning in order to help young people flourish; be it the academic or practical qualification route, she believes there isn’t a “one size fits all” prescription when it comes to starting a career.
Jess is currently undertaking a Level 3 Event and Business Apprenticeship, specialising in helping create and execute events. Jess is an incredibly creative individual and has been since a child, hosting her own events in the form of mini fashion runways for family and friends to enjoy. This creativity has stayed with Jess into adulthood as she enjoys tailoring and customising her own clothes as a hobby and creative outlet. When making decisions about her future qualifications, Jess was interested in pursuing Art in college but her final decision was to embark on her chosen apprenticeship in events when she came across the opportunity at Claritee. We are excited to see Jess use her artistic flair as she will be able to put her own stamp on events which will be a great defining feature for her future career.
Ultimately, Jess envisions herself having her own business hosting entertaining events with fun atmospheres that have a greater aim, to help charitable causes. Our company was born with the intention of supporting those with well-being struggles in the corporate sphere and the wider community, so Jess was the perfect fit for our apprentice vacancy. Jess is looking forward to being an active part of the team, learning the logistics of planning specific events, for clients or our own brand. In the short space of time that Jess has been a member of Claritee, we have already witnessed her independence, creativity and seamless integration with all of our team. We look forward to being a part of her journey and hope to assist her in her development as an event planner.
